Started as a filmdiary, “Ogni cosa nella luce si ritrae” is an attempt at assembling all the footage shot over the course of thirteen months through a logic capable of showing both its intimacy and distance. A hendiadys turned towards its incompleteness, towards the margin itself (here, each time: the film leader, the cut that links and separates the images), always and yet never entirely continuous/discontinuous, at the same time.

Liam Baldini (Rimini, 2001) is an independent filmmaker and photographer, with a background in philosophy. He mainly works in super8 and other analog formats. His films have been screened at several international festivals, including Pesaro Film Festival, Laterale Film Festival, Revolutions per Minute Festival, and Beijing International Short Film Festival. He also contributes to the programming of film events within the curatorial project “angolo cieco”.
